The only frog I can catch is with a camera. That makes me sound all wildlife photographer-y.

Mosquito bites on my ankles, 3 days later. I want your reaction to be "oh the poor girl, that looks very uncomfortable." I do not want you to guess how long it's been since I shaved my legs.
Goose family! It's hard to see through the reeds, but there are some fuzzy baby geese to the left of the parents.
Turtle #1! It jumped into the water when I got closer, so we'll use this shot as an example of the area.
Turtle #2. As you can see, I'm steering my kayak straight towards it, drifting in quietly before it jumps in the water.
Turtle #3. This guy did not care that we approached. He was balancing on the log, his back feet weren't touching anything, just dangling in the air.
Same turtle. Mike could have picked it up, because it was just not moving. We wondered if it was stuck. It was there when we left, too.
