Due to popular request (of at least 2 people), I have some photo updates of what we've been up to lately.
First, as a basepoint, a photo of my stomach at 18 weeks' pregnant, coincidentally just a few days after my appendix was removed. (The post "Photo Update" from November 25? Published about 12 hours before the whole appendix ordeal began.)
Here I am, clothed, at 26 weeks. (It was a Saturday morning, very early, I was tired.)
Speaking of that same early Saturday morning, Wiki was relaxing in her favorite lounge chair. Her chair has a touch of bedhead. Wiki was so comfortable that I trimmed her claws, and all she said was, "mmm, foot massage."
A few short weeks later, our basement flooded.
The flood was caused by a backup in some main pipe, which is frightfully accessed by a hole in the basement floor. Which was flooded to the brim. Which caused me to cry in front of the friendly Roto Rooter man.
Wiki enjoyed the carpet as it was propped up to dry.
Oh, hey, did you know we like to take pictures of our cat? On one of the days when I was home from work waiting for strangers to sanitize the basement, I played computer, and Wiki played "I am much too cute to be ignored."
"But wait," you say. "Where are the fat lady pictures? Enough with the cat."
Last night, at the beginning of week 33, we set up Chachi's Amby hammock.
And who better to test the crib than Wiki?
And that is pretty much all the fun we've been having lately.
Looks like Chachi will be kept nice and warm with Wiki. The only downside is that Chachi may occasionally get a mouthful of Wiki fur, but that will just boost his immune system. The Amby hammock also looks very mosquito-proof so it will be useful on camping trips as well.
