Poor little floating baby widget, the countdown hits zero days and it's still stuck there. Much like little Zeke, who is also stuck where he is. What do you do when it's your due date, daycare is closed, and your husband is home on vacation? To begin with, you give your child yet another train set to kill the time.
Mike spent the night putting it together, like Christmas all over again (but I think with more work).
This morning they crashed Thomas trains on the track; this afternoon they have moved on to the automatic trains. Here's a video from the morning, from Scott first seeing the track.
Another thing you do to kill time is take Scott bowling.
He loves bowling.
On the way to the bowling alley, Scott was concerned that "the other kids" were using his bowling ball. We told him that they would share, and he said those are nice kids.
Scott loves taking his ball out of the spinner thing.
And he loves his cool bowling shoes.
He really loves his friend Daddy. Mike put all three of us in the computer, and Scott bowled every frame until about halfway through. Then he would take the first frame and let Mike go for the spare. I never picked up a ball. And yet...
I totally smoked both of them (Scott 74, Mom 115, Dad 68).
Here's a bowling video. Happy non-labor day to all.

We were thinking about you today and hope that baby Sutherland #2 decides to get this over with and just come out already :) Nathan is in bed but I'll let him watch the new video clips in the morning as he asks to watch the "Scotty show" every single day. I'm sure he'll be delighted with both the train and bowling scenes :)

Glad to see that you are finding ways to amuse yourselves while you wait. That is a great train set and the bowling shoes are adorable! We hope you don't have to be pregnant too much longer.
